This collection consists of two folders. One is photographs of the club members and their activities. The other is a manual containing a history of the club and summaries of their activities. It documents the activities of Digital Cinema majors and those interested in film at Northern Michigan University in the 2010s.
Amnesty International, NMU Chapter records
This collection consists of correspondence, meeting minutes, program and speaker flyers, news clippings, and miscellaneous materials of the Northern Michigan University chapter of Amnesty International, an international human rights organization primarily concerned with freeing political prisoners through letter writing campaigns. The collection also contains correspondence, news clippings, notes, and petitions relating to the release of John Pierce, an NMU student jailed in Peru in 1981.
Judith Bailey papers
This collection is composed of the papers of Judith Bailey, who was the president of Northern Michigan University from 1998 to 2003. Her papers are primarily centered around her hiring and include related articles, press releases, and correspondence, dating from 1997 to 2003. Other materials include statistics about NMU enrollment, costs and productivity during her time as president.
Bernice M. Bal scrapbook
This scrapbook created by Bernice M. Bal was donated to the Archives by NMU Professor Russell Magnaghi. It documents her time spent at Northern State Teachers College. The scrapbook includes class schedules, news articles on events on campus and in the community, programs, miscellaneous articles, letters/invitations, and graduating class roster listings.
Bookbinders Cafe photographs
This collection is composed of ten photo albums filled with photographs of students and staff of Bookbinders Cafe, located in the basement of the Harden Learning Resources Center. The photographs were taken between 1980 and 1993. The collection also includes news clippings, awards, letters, cards, and a biography of Maggie Britton, the cafe manager.

This collection contains extensive home movies documenting the activities of the Bourgeois family in and around Marquette, Michigan and the Upper Peninsula from 1920 to 1969. Footage includes scenes on the Northern Michigan University campus in Marquette. The collection includes VHS production originals and user duplicate copies.

Gildo Canale sports memorabilia
This collection consists mainly of Northern Michigan University basketball and football game programs; photographs of teams, athletic activities, and coaches; and news articles related to NMU sports from 1928 to 1992. The collection also includes a football program from 1992.
James L. Carter papers
Scattered papers of James L. Carter including biographical materials; press releases, news clippings, and brochures relating to the Greenwood Nature Center, which was a nature education facility operated by Northern Michigan University during the early 1980s; a summary of activities, list of titles published, and selected memos associated with the NMU Press; and progress reports and correspondence regarding the American Indian Program at Northern during the 1970s.

Martha Clark letter
This collection consists of a letter written by Martha Clark in 1911 that describes the J.D. Pierce Training School's kindergarten room and the children's activities. The letter also describes the teaching of drawing by the teacher, Miss Edwards. The J.D. Pierce Training School was located on the campus of Northern State Normal School (now Northern Michigan University) in Marquette, Michigan and functioned as a training laboratory for student teachers.
Ruth Craig papers
This collection consists of items formerly part of a retirement scrapbook given to Ruth Craig on her retirement from Northern Michigan University in 1963. The collection consists of photographs of campus scenes, student activities, former students, faculty and staff, and images from the retirement dinner. The collection also consists of numerous letters of tribute written to Craig from staff and former students. All materials are dated 1963.

This collection documents the activities of the Culinary Students of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Records include correspondence, financial records, and photographs. Materials date from 2000 to 2003.

Geraldine DeFant papers
This collection consists of a taped oral interview with Geraldine Defant conducted by Jennifer Grondin on March 26, 1990, and includes an interview transcription. Of particular note is the interview's coverage of the 1949 H.W. Gossard Company Garment Workers Strike in Ishpeming, Michigan. The collection also includes copies of a scrapbook and photographs. The collection's materials cover the range between 1946-1990.
Delta Sigma Nu scrapbook
This collection consists of a scrapbook that documents many of Delta Sigma Nu's activities, such as rush, various parties, and ice sculpture. Items mounted in the scrapbook include a large number of photograps, membership lists, and correspondence. The scrapbook dates from 1957 to 1961.

Donald F. Dreisbach papers
This collection contains the papers of Donald F. Dreisbach, a Northern Michigan University Professor of Philosophy. His papers include manuscripts and drafts of articles he has written (most of which are concentrated on the works of Paul Tillich), his dissertation work, and his faculty evaluation forms. The materials range from the years 1969 to 1998.
Elizabeth Mather scrapbook
The collection was originally a black paperbound scrapbook, containing materials dating from 1923 to 1925. Ms. Mather collected programs of commencements, plays, and concerts. Also included are dance cards, letters of invitation, dance memorabilia, and an assortment of class instructions and teaching guides from Northern State Normal School for Fall 1924 and Spring 1925, and several photographs of of Ms. Mather's friends and classmates.
Fillmore C.F. Earney papers
This collection is comprised of some of the professional publications of Dr. Fillmore C.F. Earney. The collection's focus is on mining and mineral resources. Of particular note is the report entitled "Marquette County Growth Impact Study (1975)." This report examines the impact of mining operations by the Cleveland Cliffs Iron Mining Company on the population and economic growth of Marquette County.

This collection is comprised of several photographs depicting students and faculty from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan attending a workshop sponsored by the Future Teachers of America. The photographs are not labeled with identifying information.

Luther O. Gant papers
This collection consists of memorabilia of Luther Gant's career at Northern Michigan College (now Northern Michigan University) in Marquette, Michigan. The collection is scattered and incomplete. Materials include numerous photographs of Kaye Hall, particularly during winter, and photographs of Luther Gant's retirement celebration. The collection also includes honorary degrees and correspondence from noted Michigan educators. Materials date between 1930 and 1961.

This collection documents the activities of the Golden Wildcat Club, a booster organization for Northern Michigan University Athletics in Marquette, Michigan. Records include correspondence, reunion information, the tenth annual hockey reunion (1986), and photographs (prints and negatives). Materials in the collection are dated from 1982 to 1990.
