This collection contains a variety of photographs from Arvon Township in Baraga County, Michigan. Prominent topics in the photos include logging, farming, and the Iron Range and Huron Bay Railroad. Most photos date from the 1970s to the 1920s with one photograph from 1971.

The origin of the photographs is unknown. All depict scenes from Arvon Township in Baraga County, Michigan. The physical collection came from the Arvon Township Historical Society, and the digital version was originally part of the Superiorland Library Cooperative's Upper Peninsula Regional Digitization Center.
