Scope and Contents Note This collection is composed of ten photo albums filled with photographs of students and staff of Bookbinders Cafe, located in the basement of the Harden Learning Resources Center. The photographs were taken between 1980 and 1993. The collection also includes news clippings, awards, letters, cards, and a biography of Maggie Britton, the cafe manager.

Scope and Contents Note This collection contains several images of students in groups outdoors at Northern State Normal School (now Northern Michigan University) in Marquette, Michigan. The students are engaged in various activities. Of particular note are images of Kaye Hall, the original Longyear Dormitory, and the Marquette Branch state prison. The photographs date from 1905 to 1910.

Scope and Contents note This collection contains photographs of families in "Vetville," the common name for married student housing at Northern Michigan University, preparing to move or for graduation, including images of the students' children. The collection also contains photographs of a Rod and Gun Club outing and of fans and concession stands at Memorial Field (located where the Berry Events Center now stands) during an NMU football game. The photographs were taken by Harold Wiitala between 1952 and 1955.
