Scope and Contents Note This collection documents Italian-American activities and culture in early twentieth century Negaunee, Michigan. Records include photographic portrait prints of Chiri family members, an Italian men's group (circa 1910), and the Italian Fraternal Mutual Aid Society (1912). The photographs date from 1910 to circa 1919.
Scope and Content This collection includes records of the Paisano Club of Upper Michigan. They provide information about the social club and associated Italian societies. This collection contains information about the culture of these Italian immigrants, the efforts they made to keep their culture and values alive, the efforts they made to send assistance to Italians in need in Italy, and the efforts they made to visit the places of their birth.
