Scope and Contents Scattered papers of James L. Carter including biographical materials; press releases, news clippings, and brochures relating to the Greenwood Nature Center, which was a nature education facility operated by Northern Michigan University during the early 1980s; a summary of activities, list of titles published, and selected memos associated with the NMU Press; and progress reports and correspondence regarding the American Indian Program at Northern during the 1970s.

Scope and Contents note This collection contains memorabilia collected by Tom Peters documenting Northern Michigan University (NMU) football, basketball, and ice hockey from 1968 to 1996. The collection consists of various promotional flyers, brochures, and newsletters. Also included are photographs, newspaper clippings, memoranda, programs, and some correspondence. Scope and Contents note This collection documents Dr. Rudi Prusok's professional career at Northern Michigan University. The bulk of the collection covers the 1980s and includes professional and personal correspondence, flyers, brochures, records of the Foreign Language Teachers Conference, course syllabi, faculty evaluation (1994), a copy of an article Prusok wrote about Thomas Mann, and a sabbatical leave proposal. Some of the personal correspondence discusses scheutzen rifles.

Scope and Contents Note This collection documents some of the highlights of Forest Robert's career at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Topics include the Lydia Olson Library dedication (1950), forensics and debate team program, U.P. Debate League, 1966 speech for a history marker dedication, and a teacher tenure issue. Records include newspaper clippings, Alumni News, programs, photographs, brochure of college songs (1949), correspondence. The collection's materials date from 1917 to 1997.
