Summary
Valela worked in the mines and is able to share a lot information about the mines and life for the miners of that era. He shares information on life in the Italian community and Italian societies. After the interview as a recording of the presentation ceremony for the Family Man of the Year Award he won from the Ishpeming Diplomats Club. Recorded at Ishpeming, Michigan.
