Rose Valenti Johnson and her sister Genevieve Valenti talk about their parents and growing up in a family with nine kids. They also talk about Italian families and their traditions, holidays, and food, speaking about Saint Days, Catholic School and the preparation of food. Later they talk about mining and their father, who worked in the Barnes and Hecker Mine. Recorded at Negaunee, Michigan.
