Summary

Kathy was attending Northern Michigan University as a widow with three young children when she first went to The Women's Center in Marquette, Michigan. She went through the displaced homemaker program and talks about what the program did for women and how it helped her own life. She describes her roles in youth outreach and education, and the importance of Assertiveness Training.
