Summary
Ida Dominici discusses what Italy was like, why she came to America, what her voyage was like, arriving in Crystal Falls, when and why the rest of her family came to America, where they worked, why her family changed their surname, why they moved to Iron River and then to Virgil, Michigan, the city of Virgil, the World Wars and people who served, the depression, and discrimination against Italian Americans. Ida immigrated from Pergola, Italy. The interview was recorded in Virgil, Michigan.
