This collection documents the activities of the Golden Wildcat Club, a booster organization for Northern Michigan University Athletics in Marquette, Michigan. Records include correspondence, reunion information, the tenth annual hockey reunion (1986), and photographs (prints and negatives). Materials in the collection are dated from 1982 to 1990.

Historical Note

A dedicated group of alumni and friends created the Club in 1969 to promote and financially support Northern Michigan University's athletic program. As an example of their work during the 1995-1996 school year, the Golden Wildcat Club assisted athletics with at least $135,000 for scholarships and recruiting expenses. The Club is part of the NMU Development Fund.
