Scope and Contents note
This collection includes a membership roll and dues book from 1922 covering various local Italian-American fraternal associations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (see Russell M. Magnaghi's "Miners, Merchants, and Midwives" (1987), pp. 65-72). Also included are correspondence from Italian-Americans to Msgr. David Spelgatti of Ishpeming, Michigan. The collection is entirely in Italian.

Historical Note
In 1922, the Italian-American Federation of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan was formed as an umbrella organization for all Italian fraternal organizations in the Copper Country and the Upper Peninsula.
