Biographical / Historical

Krista Clumpner is (as of the writing of this finding aid in 2015) the head of Technical Services and Systems at Northern Michigan University's Olson Library. She has served in this position since 1991. She serves as the departmental liaison for the College of Art and Design and the Department of Communication and Performance Studies. She received a B.A. in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980 and an M.A. in Library Science from the same institution in 1981. Before coming to Northern, she worked as a cataloger at Central Michigan University's Clarke Historical Library from 1986 to 1990. While at Northern Michigan University, she has been an active member of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), serving as its secretary and president. She has also been a member of numerous Academic Senate and Academic Information Services committees. She has given presentations at many library conferences and has written several articles.

Processing Information

On September 2, 2015 files relating to the Faculty Evaluation Committee (FEC) and the Faculty Review Committee (FRC) were shredded per University Archivist Marcus Robyns.
