Content Description

This collection of scrapbook materials by Theodore F. Fryfogle was given to the archives by his daughter Mary Ellen Eckler. This collection covers Fryfogle's time as a music student at Northern State Normal School. The documents included are programs/bulletins, newspaper articles, a personal music score, letters/correspondence, advertisements, and photography.

Biographical / Historical

Theodore Fryfogle, a Marquette native, graduated from Northern in 1925. He was a member of Ygdrasil, Men's Glee Club, String Quintet, Orchestra, and Band. He was subsequently a music teacher in Saginaw and Grand Rapids. He married Marie Boss in 1931.
