The collection consists of a single item: a grant packet application sent from Adams Township to the Michigan Department of Commerce in 1983. The packet includes amendments to the Adams Township articles of incorporation, bills of sale for the water utility property (including the 1967 sale of the Champion Mine Shafthouse #4 (now maintained by Painesdale Mine and Shaft, Inc.) to Adams Township, a water supply usage agreement, and the deed to the property.
