Gildo Canale sports memorabilia
This collection consists mainly of Northern Michigan University basketball and football game programs; photographs of teams, athletic activities, and coaches; and news articles related to NMU sports from 1928 to 1992. The collection also includes a football program from 1992.
Ruth Craig papers
This collection consists of items formerly part of a retirement scrapbook given to Ruth Craig on her retirement from Northern Michigan University in 1963. The collection consists of photographs of campus scenes, student activities, former students, faculty and staff, and images from the retirement dinner. The collection also consists of numerous letters of tribute written to Craig from staff and former students. All materials are dated 1963.
Luther O. Gant papers
This collection consists of memorabilia of Luther Gant's career at Northern Michigan College (now Northern Michigan University) in Marquette, Michigan. The collection is scattered and incomplete. Materials include numerous photographs of Kaye Hall, particularly during winter, and photographs of Luther Gant's retirement celebration. The collection also includes honorary degrees and correspondence from noted Michigan educators. Materials date between 1930 and 1961.

This collection includes a copy of John Longyear's original deed to the Longyear Forest property, as well as the deeds of both transfers of Longyear Forest property to Northern Michigan College of Education.

The scrapbook contains booklets and pamphlets relating to teaching as a career, greeting cards, certificates, correspondence, newsletters, programs, photographs and newsclippings relating to the Michigan Student Education Association and to the Don Bottum Chapter of Future Teachers of America.
Miriam A. Hilton papers
The collection contains the papers of Miriam Hilton. The collection includes drafts, notes, news clippings, alumni questionnaires, and transcriptions of faculty interviews (Meyland, Hedgecock, Wahtera, and O'Dell) relating to her book Northern Michigan University: The First 75 Years. Also included are records relating to Church Women United of Marquette and writings of Hilton's father, Dr. John Elder.

C.V. "Red" Money papers
This collection consists of basketball scorebooks from teams coached by or associated with C.V. "Red" Money. Scorebooks from the 1949-1950 season through the 1954-1955 season are for the Northern Michigan University basketball team. Also included are summaries of his basketball and football seasons, a paper written by Money, and plaques honoring him.
Northern Michigan College of Education Alumni World War II correspondence
This collection contains letters, postcards, v-mails, and press releases about various alumni promotions and service history sent between 1942 and 1948.
Northern Michigan University Football Team photographs
This collection of the Northern Michigan University Football Team photographs consist of team photographs and miscellaneous team member photographs from 1951 to 1954. Some of the individuals included in the photographs are Bob St. Martin, Sam Bogarin, Louis Myefski, Paul Gingrass, Ed Kuivinch, John Beaumier, Adrian Anglim, Bob Monck, Ted Fellman, and assistant coach Morgan Gingrass.

One Book, One Community scrapbook
The "One Book, One Community" scrapbook from 2006 was created by Phyllis Wong and was transferred to the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives by Dan Truckey. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, flyers, and press releases.

Josephine Hurst Schils scrapbook
This collection contains a scrapbook that came to the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives bound in a loose-leaf binder. The contents relate to Josephine Hurst Schils' years as a student at John D. Pierce School and at at Northern Michigan College of Education. Materials include programs, publications, photographs, and newspaper clippings from 1948 to 1998.

Newsclippings, play programs, and photographs related to the Masquers, a student drama organization. The Masquers were organized to provide for practical training in dramatic arts.
Theta Omicron Rho photographs
This collection documents social activities and includes an image of the entire membership of the Theta Omicron Rho fraternity in Marquette, Michigan, of which Ellwood Mattson was a member. Other images include the house stairwell and foyer prior to a dinner dance, a dress-up social party, and a dinner party. The photographs date from 1949 to 1950.
George Tomasi papers
This collection contains the memorabilia of George W. Tomasi. It includes photographs, papers, and articles relating to the "Barracks Boys," as well as Northern Michigan University athletics. Also included are family photographs and Hermansville High School memorabillia including a basketball program and class picture from 1952.

This collection guide includes collections from member organizations of UPLINK (the Upper Peninsula Digital Network) as well as the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives. UPLINK collections document the history of the Upper Peninsula broadly, while the Central UP & NMU Archives focuses on such topics as Northern Michigan University history, the local iron mining industry, and the politics, economics, religion, environment, and culture of the Central Upper Peninsula region.
