This collection features a newsletter focused on providing items of interest regarding and a vehicle for reaching out to lesbians and gays in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Materials consist both of local news items and news digests taken from a variety of national newspapers and magazines. The newsletter is published in Marquette, Michigan by Francine Malindzak and Mary Denilauler.

This collection, MSS-266, Collection of "The Nishnawbe News" newspaper, consists of printed copies of The Nishnawbe News which was published at Northern Michigan University from July 1971 through October 1983. The editions maintained in this collection run from 1971 through 1982 and is not all inclusive.

It is comprised mainly of documents and papers for Sorority events, Rush day and other college-related social events. The collection also contains lists of the college courses and copies of Northern newspapers from 1925-27 and 1934-38.

This collection contains issues of the Escanaba Daily Mirror from January 2, 1906 to its last issue on June 28, 1924. There are many missing issues: 1906-09-01 to 1910-03-14 (inclusive), January to October 1912 (inclusive), and July to December 1916 (inclusive).

The collection has almost the full run of the newspaper from August 30, 1994 to August 15, 2013. It is missing the first March 2007 issue, the second March 2009 issue, the second June 2012 issue, the first November 2012 issue, and the second December 2012 issue.

This is a small manuscript collection containing correspondence relating to the Janzen Hotel, the "Save the Janzen Hotel" committee and project, a poster for the Save the Janzen Hotel Week Benefit Film Series, and newspaper clippings.

This collection contains issues of the Manistique Courier from December 25, 1896 to November 24, 1899. Within this time frame, it is missing Volume 3, Number 22, 1899-05-19.

This collection contains a relatively complete run of the Sunday Morning Star from October 1890 to June 1891 and one issue of the Saturday Morning Star from 1893. The quality of the original microfilm was poor, and there are frequently ripped pages and missing chunks of the paper.
