Michigan Student Education Association scrapbook
The scrapbook contains booklets and pamphlets relating to teaching as a career, greeting cards, certificates, correspondence, newsletters, programs, photographs and newsclippings relating to the Michigan Student Education Association and to the Don Bottum Chapter of Future Teachers of America.
Miriam A. Hilton papers
The collection contains the papers of Miriam Hilton. The collection includes drafts, notes, news clippings, alumni questionnaires, and transcriptions of faculty interviews (Meyland, Hedgecock, Wahtera, and O'Dell) relating to her book Northern Michigan University: The First 75 Years. Also included are records relating to Church Women United of Marquette and writings of Hilton's father, Dr. John Elder.

C.V. "Red" Money papers
This collection consists of basketball scorebooks from teams coached by or associated with C.V. "Red" Money. Scorebooks from the 1949-1950 season through the 1954-1955 season are for the Northern Michigan University basketball team. Also included are summaries of his basketball and football seasons, a paper written by Money, and plaques honoring him.
Northern Michigan University Centennial Book photographs
This collection contains various photographs used in the publication of Northern Michigan University's commemorative centennial book. Important subjects include the Honor All Children Pow-Pow. The photographs are from 1998.

Richard O'Dell papers
One Book, One Community scrapbook
The "One Book, One Community" scrapbook from 2006 was created by Phyllis Wong and was transferred to the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives by Dan Truckey. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, flyers, and press releases.
Peace newspaper issue
This collection contains one issue of the Peace newspaper published in 1969. This particular issue deals almost entirely with subjects of racism and African American students on campus. A major topic is the elimination of the Job Corps program on Northern Michigan University's campus.

Rudi Prusok papers
This collection documents Dr. Rudi Prusok's professional career at Northern Michigan University. The bulk of the collection covers the 1980s and includes professional and personal correspondence, flyers, brochures, records of the Foreign Language Teachers Conference, course syllabi, faculty evaluation (1994), a copy of an article Prusok wrote about Thomas Mann, and a sabbatical leave proposal. Some of the personal correspondence discusses scheutzen rifles.

Marcus Robyns papers
This collection consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, course materials (from courses that Robyns took and courses that he taught), professional materials, copies of journal articles about archival topics, and applications for promotion. With the exception of two folders (one of personal newspaper articles and one of correspondence with former student assistants at the Northern Michigan University Archives), the entire collection deals with Robyns' career as an archivist.

Theta Omicron Rho records
This small collection of records from the Theta Omicron Rho Fraternity was donated by Dennis Cieslinski, who tried to reorganize the fraternity. It contains a photograph of the Theta Omicron Rho house in 1978 as well as a copy of the rules and regulations of the house from 1927-1928.
George Tomasi papers
This collection contains the memorabilia of George W. Tomasi. It includes photographs, papers, and articles relating to the "Barracks Boys," as well as Northern Michigan University athletics. Also included are family photographs and Hermansville High School memorabillia including a basketball program and class picture from 1952.
Transcendental Club records
This collection includes memorandums sent to Transcendental Club members that outline the date, location, and topic of upcoming meetings. The bulk of the collection consists of photocopies of articles used for background reading material. Some of the articles have highlights and/or notes attached. The materials are from meetings of the Transcendental Club that happened between 1993 and 1997.

This collection documents the history of the United Automobile Workers (UAW) Local 2178 (Technical, Office and Professional) Union on the Northern Michigan University campus in Marquette, Michigan. Records include correspondence, reports and studies, agendas, minutes, newsletters, grievance records, hearing records, and salary data. The collection's materials date from 1970 to 1997.
Margaret Whitman papers
This collection consists of Northern Michigan University memorabilia. Items include photographs of homecoming (1949), basketball and football teams, and the Tri Mu Fraternity; a homecoming program for 1948, a commencement program from 1981, copies of Horizons, and a personal scrapbook. The materials date from 1948 to 1993.

This collection guide includes collections from member organizations of UPLINK (the Upper Peninsula Digital Network) as well as the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives. UPLINK collections document the history of the Upper Peninsula broadly, while the Central UP & NMU Archives focuses on such topics as Northern Michigan University history, the local iron mining industry, and the politics, economics, religion, environment, and culture of the Central Upper Peninsula region.
These finding aids will give you an overview of the contents and context of each collection. Finding aids only exist for collections that each organization has shared with UPLINK or (in the case of the NMU Archives) for processed collections.
