Content Description This material was received in 1 banker box that contained 4 legal-size expanding wallets. The markings on the wallets were: “W31948 Frank Stone-Personal-Iron Duke Mine.” Inside of one was a pocket file with “Frank B. Stone from Bigelow the last gasp I’m sure” written on it. These wallets contained correspondence, large manila envelopes, stock options, proxy certificates, meeting minutes, financial reports, tax records, documents pertaining to the purchase and selling of the mine....

Longshoremen's Union Local 1673 records

This collection features the records for Longshoremen's Union Local 1673 (later Local 1014) in Marquette, Michigan. The collection includes minutes for two meetings in 1946, affidavits of non-communist party membership, official copies of constitutions and by-laws, membership roles and dues payment records. The materials range in date from 1942 to 1960.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of five ledgerbooks that were donated by the Marquette County Clerk's Office. These ledgerbooks contain an indexed alphabetical listing of the names of the nurses whose licenses are included. Ledgerbook 1 contains documents entitled "Record of Certificate of Registration of Nurses-State of Michigan" covering the time period March 27, 1911 through October 14, 1935.
