Negaunee (Mich.).

This is an artificial collection of postcards relating to Northern Michigan University and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that have been received at the NMU Archives from various sources.

This collection documents Italian-American activities and culture in early twentieth century Negaunee, Michigan. Records include photographic portrait prints of Chiri family members, an Italian men's group (circa 1910), and the Italian Fraternal Mutual Aid Society (1912). The photographs date from 1910 to circa 1919.

This collection is a digital collection of interactive maps that combine a current aerial view with historical Sanborn fire insurance maps, allowing the user to compare what cities looked like in the past with how they look today. Historic photographs have also been pinned into the map at significant locations. The following cities and towns are included in this project: Marquette, 1917; Ishpeming, 1911; Negaunee, 1911; Republic, 1922; Michigamme, 1902; L'Anse, 1938.

This collection contains scrapbooks on various topics related to the history of Negaunee, Michigan. The bulk of the material in the scrapbooks is photographs, but there are also newspaper articles, maps, pamphlets, and a wide variety of other documents.

The collection contains the entire known extant run of the Negaunee Iron Herald from 1873 to 1968. There are many missing issues.

A collection of photographs from the Negaunee Public Library depicting a wide variety of places and people around the Upper Peninsula. The photographs date from approximately 1880 to 1900.
