Scope and Contents note This manuscript collection contains the memorabilia of Helen and Ebba Eklund and their time at Northern, spanning from 1925 until 1941. It is comprised mainly of documents and papers for Sorority events, Rush day and other college-related social events. The collection also contains lists of the college courses and copies of Northern newspapers from 1925-27 and 1934-38.

Elizabeth Mather scrapbook

Scope and Contents The collection was originally a black paperbound scrapbook, containing materials dating from 1923 to 1925. Ms. Mather collected programs of commencements, plays, and concerts. Also included are dance cards, letters of invitation, dance memorabilia, and an assortment of class instructions and teaching guides from Northern State Normal School for Fall 1924 and Spring 1925, and several photographs of of Ms. Mather's friends and classmates.

Scope and Contents Note This collection contains several images of students in groups outdoors at Northern State Normal School (now Northern Michigan University) in Marquette, Michigan. The students are engaged in various activities. Of particular note are images of Kaye Hall, the original Longyear Dormitory, and the Marquette Branch state prison.
